Lemlem

I am on a mission to have 50% of my wardrobe be by African designers. Lately, I have been so attracted to different types of fabrics and textures. My top is from the brand Lemlem, which is by model Liya Kebede. All their items are handmade in Ethiopia and there's just something so beautiful about that. This top could easily be a worn as a tunic and paired with a long skirt and big hat if you want that bohemian vibe. It's extremely light weight and airy. I wore it to grab dinner with some friends.

On a side note, the weather in Nigeria has been absolutely amazing. It's hamatan (dry) season so it's much cooler than it usually is. There's practically no humidity which I am loving! I've been in Nigeria for about three weeks now and I have had the best time. Some days are more stressful and tiring than others since I have been in meeting after meeting, but they have all been worth it. I also met a lot more people on this trip who are doing amazing things here. I get inspired by people my age doing epic things. One thing I have learned is that it's much easier to go on this journey called life with someone than by yourself. A lot of the projects I'm working on wouldn't have been possible if I did it alone. Can't wait to show and tell you guys more!
