I wore this to a traditional wedding for one of my friends. I tried to get as creative as possible when I was designing my outfit. The lace detail was added last minute, I walked into the tailors shop and saw that he had a lot of lace scraps. I chose which ones I wanted to told him where to place it. It came out better than I thought. Always trust your gut!
Now for my head tie. I learned how to tie these when I was in the village in Nigeria on a small bucket, it's seriously an art. Thankfully I am a fast learner so I was able to grasp it rather quickly. I had to even watch a few youtube videos to help me freshen up my skills. Either way I was very happy with the way it turned out.
You can imagine how colorful Nigerian weddings can be.
